Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking a Senior Manager, Investor Relations and Corporate Development to own the corporate development agenda and the investor-facing function. You will map markets, qualify opportunities, build valuation models, and support diligence with executives and counsel.

You will also own how Valar communicates with investors, including updates, data room, and board/investor packages. This high-ownership role suits someone with investment banking/consulting in energy and a willingness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience, including 5+ years in investment banking and/or management consulting serving energy, power, or infrastructure sectors.
• Demonstrated experience supporting transactions end-to-end (M&A, JV, project finance, etc.).
• Expert financial modeling and valuation skills with advanced Excel.
• Proven ability to produce executive, board, and investor-ready materials.

Responsibilities

• Drive corporate development agenda: market mapping, target identification, qualification, outreach, and prioritization.
• Evaluate partnerships, ventures, off-take and PPAs, strategic investments, and acquisitions; build analysis and recommendations.
• Build valuation, returns, and deal models with scenario analysis, capital structure, dilution, and downside cases.
• Support diligence by coordinating internal teams and external advisors, ensuring timelines and quality.
• Support capital formation strategy across equity, debt, project finance, and government programs; analyze funding for pilot plant and deployments.
• Write investment memos and recommendations for the executive team and board with clear terms.
