Job summary

Newrez is seeking an Sr Investor Accounting Analyst to prepare and review monthly reconciliations for investor custodial accounts, including FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, and private portfolios. You will guide junior staff, drive process improvements, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve variances with precision.

The role emphasizes advanced Excel, strong analytical skills, and effective communication with senior management. Experience in mortgage servicing and GSE guidelines is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 5+ years of Mortgage Servicing experience, 2+ years investor accounting experience required.
• Advanced MS Excel experience required.
• Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint.
• SQL or other database reporting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly cashbook and test of expected reconciliations for investor custodial accounts.
• Review reconciliations performed by junior analysts.
• Research and resolve loan and account variances.
• Collaborate with Investor Reporting team to resolve items in investor accounts.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and controls.
