Job summary

Colorado PERA seeks an experienced technical lead to drive development of investment systems and data platforms (FundHub, ICS Athena, Portia, Longview, PACE) using Python, SQL and PowerShell. You will lead solution design, complex data transformations, and lean delivery across CI/CD workflows.

You will mentor the team, coordinate with IT and Investment SMEs, and ensure robust, scalable, secure solutions for investment decision-making. Hybrid work with on-site Denver-based duties available.

Qualifications

• Degree in technical (STEM) field and four years experience in technical role preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Mastery of SQL and Python/PowerShell; experience with system architecture and Snowflake data modeling

Responsibilities

• Owns large investment projects by providing analysis, development, testing, and deployment; contributes to larger initiatives through effective collaboration with IT and Investment SMEs.
• Leads technical solutioning, design and development activities as well as implementation of complex system enhancements.
• Develops the most complex data transformations and logic; optimizes Snowflake performance and ensures data Lean-ness.
• Translates architectural designs into complex technical builds; leads the technical delivery of major projects and peer-reviews all designs for Lean efficiency.
• Defines technical documentation standards; ensures the team's knowledge base is accurate, searchable, and audit-ready.
