Job summary

BMO U.S. in Chicago seeks a Senior Investment Portfolio Manager to provide fiduciary expertise and leadership across investment solutions.

You will develop model portfolios, analyze risk and return, and collaborate with regional teams to deliver compliant, data-driven investment strategies. You will mentor staff, influence senior leaders, and drive strategic initiatives while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• BA or Finance certification preferred.
• In-depth understanding of portfolio management principles and asset mix determination.

Responsibilities

• Provide investment management, fiduciary expertise and strategic leadership for business, products, and policies to Investment professionals within the assigned portfolio / jurisdiction.
• Develop and recommends model portfolios based on statistical evaluation of risk, return and correlations.
• Prepare spreadsheets and reports with performance information, portfolio summaries, asset allocation targets, etc.
• Lead change management programs of varying scope and type and ensure quality of execution.
• Oversee governance meetings and maintenance of governing body mandates, oversight and approval guidelines.
