BMO Harris Bank is seeking a senior Investment Management professional to lead fiduciary and portfolio strategies within Wealth Sales & Service. You'll build and manage investment proposals, collaborate across the bank, and guide strategic initiatives to optimize client portfolios and governance processes.

Qualifications

• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent.
• BA or Finance certification preferred.
• In-depth understanding of portfolio management principles and asset mix determination.
• In-depth knowledge of fiduciary law and applicability to trust investment accounts.
• In-depth knowledge of equity and fixed income markets.
• In-depth understanding of tax-related issues affecting investments.
• In-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops internal and external networks and referral sources to grow business in the assigned portfolio/jurisdiction.
• Enhances marketplace presence by collaborating with experts to create integrated business development strategies.
• Develops investment proposals and participates in meetings with prospects/clients.
• Provides investment management and fiduciary expertise for senior leaders on strategy and policies.
• Leads governance meetings and maintains oversight of mandates and risk controls.
• Performs data analysis and creates models to support decision making and performance reporting.
