Job summary

Venerable is seeking a Senior Investment Data Analyst in West Chester, PA to advance investment data, reporting, and tech capabilities. Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 remote. You will enhance data flows, develop scalable data processes, and partner with multiple teams to support risk analytics and reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in financial services, strong SQL, advanced Excel, and data governance experience, with a focus on accuracy and scalability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, including investment data management.
• Design and optimize data processes to improve workflow efficiency and reduce risk.
• Proficiency in SQL with large datasets and database design.
• Experience with data transmission, loading, reconciliation, reporting and downstream integration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot data flows, investigate exceptions, and improve data quality.
• Design scalable data processes including ingestion, pipelines, validation, transformation, and reconciliation.
• Support data solutions through requirements gathering, testing, production support, and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for oversight and risk analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to advance data initiatives.
• Advance data governance with dictionaries, metadata, and process documentation.
