Job summary

RBC is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in Minneapolis to bridge North American investment teams with global data capabilities. You will translate investment challenges into data solutions, drive data excellence, and promote self-service tools across offices.

You will build dashboards, automate processes, and mentor investment professionals in Python, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI usage, with opportunities for AI-driven enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or business.
• 2–5 years of investment data & reporting experience, preferably with fixed income funds.
• Experience using Python and/or SQL for data management/extraction.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-enabled structure.
• Nice-to-have dashboards with Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the investment desk and Data Insight team to improve processes, tools, and services.
• Execute opportunities using available tools and technologies as needed.
• Provide thought leadership on how technology enhances investment effectiveness.
• Build business cases for strategic data initiatives from stakeholder feedback.
• Explore and implement AI-driven productivity for investment data workflows.
• Champion self-service data applications across North American teams.
