Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC International is seeking a Senior Investment Accountant in Houston, TX, with hybrid work arrangement (4:1). This role handles accounting for invested assets under US GAAP, SAP, and IFRS, supporting month-end close, regulatory reporting, and financial disclosures.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting/finance, strong GAAP knowledge, and CPA preferred, with proficient Excel and communication skills to interact with auditors and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience.
• CPA designation preferred.
• 5 years of progressive professional accounting/finance experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review investment-related journal entries with proper documentation.
• Reconcile investment accounts from GL to external reports.
• Assist in monthly close, statutory and IFRS reporting and disclosures.
• Coordinate with external vendors and auditors as needed.
• Support implementation of new accounting standards across SAP, GAAP, and IFRS.
