Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. seeks a Senior Accountant for Investment Accounting in Dallas. You will manage day-to-day accounting for operating and holding companies and PE investment vehicles with high activity, preparing GAAP-compliant statements and footnotes.

You will review quarterly reports, produce investor statements, and calculate performance metrics while ensuring accurate general ledgers and compliance with lender covenants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting required.
• 5+ years investment accounting and reporting experience.
• Experience with Workday or other large ERP systems preferred.
• Experience in Real Estate/Finance industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and complete quarterly financial reporting packages to investors and lenders.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements and investor statements.
• Publish quarterly performance metrics including IRR and time-weighted returns.
• Assist in researching complex accounting/regulatory issues and document conclusions.
• Oversee recording of complex investment activity from acquisition to liquidation.
• Summarize new GAAP literature and implement reporting changes.
• Prepare debt covenant calculations and supporting documentation.
• Support external auditors and tax consultants during audits.
