Job summary

The University of Florida, Main Campus in Gainesville, FL, is seeking an Ast Dir, Investigations to lead complex investigations into waste, fraud, and financial mismanagement, coordinating with senior leadership, GC, HR, Finance, UF Police, and external agencies as needed.

You will train staff, develop investigative programs, present findings, and advise remedial actions, with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience or bachelor's with 8+ years.
• Licensure/certification such as CIA/CPA/CFE preferred.
• Demonstrated investigation experience including interviewing employees and obtaining evidence.
• Data analytics and ability to create visuals for reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute investigations into waste, fraud, or financial mismanagement.
• Lead end-to-end investigative processes from intake to reporting.
• Interview suspects and witnesses, obtain and analyze evidence.
• Coordinate with university leadership and external agencies as needed.
• Advise remedial actions and monitor engagement progress.
