LCG Advisors, LLC is seeking an Inventory Valuation Sr. Associate in the Boston area. You will build Excel-based valuation models, perform in-depth inventory analyses, and support asset-based lending assessments across industries.

The role entails client interaction, project management, and collaboration with senior leaders. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and 3+ years of inventory valuation experience, with strong Excel skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance is required.
• 3+ years of inventory valuation experience is required.
• Professional designation (ASA, CFA, CPA, ABV) is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Understanding of economics, financial theory and accounting principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior analytical and research skills.
• Solid organizational skills with attention to deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task independently or in a team.
• Proven ability to work in deadline-driven environments.

Responsabilités

• Develop dynamic Excel-based valuation models for detailed inventory analysis
• Perform valuation assessments under orderly liquidation scenarios
• Conduct inventory reconciliations, sales, gross margin, and expense analyses across industries
• Support inventory appraisals to assist in asset-based lending evaluations
• Collaborate with senior leaders and internal ABL team to understand requirements and core valuation drivers
• Contribute to expansion of the firm’s valuation offerings within inventory appraisal
• Serve as the main client contact to receive documents, answer questions, and deliver final valuation report
• Engage in business development activities such as conferences and networking
• Work on projects with the division Director as needed
