Job summary

LCG Advisors, LLC is seeking a Senior Inventory Valuation Associate to lead challenging engagements from proposal to completion. The role focuses on dynamic Excel models, inventory analyses, and collaboration with the ABL team to drive accurate valuations.

You will engage across multiple industries, support business development, and serve as the main client contact for valuation deliverables. A Bachelor's in accounting/economics/finance is required with 3+ years in inventory valuation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance required.
• 3+ years of inventory valuation experience required.
• ASA, CFA, CPA, ABV designation preferred.
• Machinery & equipment valuation experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Develop dynamic Excel-based valuation models for inventory analysis.
• Perform valuations under orderly liquidation scenarios.
• Conduct inventory reconciliations, margin and expense analyses across industries.
• Support inventory appraisals for asset-based lending evaluations.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and ABL team to understand requirements and drivers.
• Contribute to expanding valuation offerings in inventory appraisal.
• Serve as client contact to manage documents and deliver final reports.
• Participate in business development activities as appropriate.
• Work on projects with division Director as needed.

The Inventory Valuation Sr. Associateis responsible forexecutingand deliveringchallenging valuation engagements byparticipatinginprojects from
initialproposal preparation through project completion.

Business Valuation isarapidly growing division within LCGAdvisorswhich was created to respond to the unprecedented need for business valuation services in the market. The demand for business valuation trained professionals is explodingandwill continue to grow exponentially over the next 10-20 years.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop dynamic Excel-based valuation models for detailed inventory analysis
• Perform valuation assessments under orderly liquidation scenarios
• Conduct thorough inventory reconciliations, sales, gross margin, and expense analyses across multiple industries
• Support inventory appraisals to assist in asset- based lending (ABL) facility evaluations
• Collaborate with senior leaders and internal ABL team to understand requirements, process flow, and core valuation drivers
• Contribute to the expansion of the firm’s valuation offerings specifically within the inventory appraisal
• Serve as the key point of contact for clients over the course of the business valuation engagement (manage receipt of financial documents, respond to questions as necessary, deliver finalized valuation report)
• Participate in business development activities as interested (conferences, networking events)
• Work on projects with division Director as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance,required
• 3+years of inventory valuation experience,required
• Professional designation (e.g., ASA, CFA, CPA, ABV), preferred
• Machinery & equipment valuation experience, preferred
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word, required
• Understanding of economics, financial theory and/or principles of accounting, required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superior analytical and research skills
• Solid organizational skills, especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
• Ability to successfully \"multi-task\" while working independently or within a group environment
• Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able tolift upto 15 pounds at times.
• Flexibility for travel (up to 20 %)

Salary Range:

• $60,000 - $90,000 base with bonus opportunity
