Job summary

LCG Advisors seeks an Inventory Valuation Sr. Associate to execute and deliver challenging valuation engagements from proposal through completion. This role focuses on dynamic Excel-based models and inventory analysis across multiple industries.

The candidate will support ABL facility evaluations, collaborate with senior leaders, and help expand the firm’s inventory valuation offerings. Travel up to 20% may be required, with a base salary range of $60,000–$90,000 plus bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance.
• 3+ years of inventory valuation experience.
• Professional designation (e.g., ASA, CFA, CPA, ABV), preferred.
• Machinery & equipment valuation experience, preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Understanding of economics, financial theory and/or accounting principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior analytical and research skills.
• Solid organizational skills, especially meeting deadlines and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or in a group.

Responsibilities

• Develop dynamic Excel-based valuation models for detailed inventory analysis.
• Perform valuation assessments under orderly liquidation scenarios.
• Conduct inventory reconciliations, sales, gross margin, and expense analyses across multiple industries.
• Support inventory appraisals to assist in asset-based lending (ABL) facility evaluations.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and internal ABL team to understand requirements and core valuation drivers.
• Contribute to expansion of valuation offerings within inventory appraisal.
• Serve as the primary client contact, manage document receipt and deliver final valuation report.
• Participate in business development activities as appropriate.
• Work on projects with division Director as needed.
