Job summary

Batory Foods in Rosemont, IL, is seeking a Supply Planner to join the Supply Chain Planning team. You will plan inventory strategically to drive sales, optimize turns, and hit order fill targets, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.

This onsite role supports the vision for inventory planning and supply efficiency. This role requires strong S&OP/IBP and demand planning knowledge in the Food & Beverage industry, plus advanced Excel and MS Dynamics 365 experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Operations/Supply Chain or related field or five years of equivalent experience in supply chain within a food ingredient or food manufacturing business.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Inventory Management.
• Strong working knowledge of Supply Chain (S&OP/IBP planning).
• Strong working knowledge of demand planning process within the Food and Beverage industry.
• Experience in analyzing data to perform Root Cause Analysis, ROI, and Cost Benefit Analysis.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Superior analytical ability to break down complex problems into manageable pieces.
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrates proficiency with JDA or MS D365 ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Optimize inventory by balancing supply and demand.
• Maximize service levels to achieve customer satisfaction and control working capital.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective stock replenishment from suppliers/production sites into warehouses.
• Create, align and execute supply plans to ensure supply efficiency.
• Provide daily updates on supplier and open PO status exceptions affecting stockouts.
• Held monthly meetings with warehouse managers to address capacity constraints.
• Manage new customer demand and shifts through the product life cycle.
• Lead cross‑functional supply chain projects impacting service and costs.
• Review and manage key master data and supply chain parameters in ERP (MS D365).
• Identify trends by product class and advise sellers to improve selling strategies.
• Collaborate with product management, sales, quality, distribution, transport and demand planning teams.
