Job summary

LaSalle Network is seeking a Demand Planner to join a collaborative Supply Chain team for a food manufacturing partner in South Holland, IL. The role focuses on data-driven forecasts and close customer-facing collaboration.

You will work with statistical forecasting, S&OP processes, and promotional analytics while supporting customer service and cross-functional teams. The position offers a strong path for growth within a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in demand planning or related role.
• Hands-on experience with statistical forecasting models and demand planning systems.
• Working knowledge of APS like SAP, Blue Yonder, Relex or similar.
• Experience supporting or participating in an S&OP or IBP process is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with Sales, Customer Service or Operations teams.
• Ability to provide backup Customer Service support when required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve the statistical baseline forecast at SKU-Customer level.
• Apply historical data, seasonality, trend analysis and forecasting algorithms.
• Identify and correct data anomalies and master data issues.
• Collect promotional plans, pricing actions and volume assumptions from Sales.
• Build and maintain a Promotion/Event Calendar and quantify promotional uplift.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Scheduling, Supply Planning and Operations.
• Prepare materials and lead weekly S&OP meetings and monthly Demand reviews.
• Prepare weekly and monthly demand reports highlighting forecast changes and key drivers.
• Maintain forecast dashboards and report weekly on forecast accuracy and bias KPIs.
• Maintain forecast hierarchies, product segmentation and customer groupings.
• Support new item introductions, phase-outs and SKU rationalization.
• Provide Customer Service backup coverage (~25%), including order entry and updates.
• Run daily backlog, open order and shipment reports as needed.

LaSalle Network is hiring for a Demand Planner to join a collaborative Supply Chain team supporting a well-established food manufacturing company in South Holland, IL. Demand Planner Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve the statistical baseline forecast at the SKU-Customer level
• Apply historical data, seasonality, trend analysis and system-based forecasting algorithms
• Identify and correct data anomalies, including outliers, history gaps and master data issues
• Collect promotional plans, pricing actions and volume assumptions from Sales
• Build and maintain a structured Promotion/Event Calendar and quantify promotional uplift
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Scheduling, Supply Planning and Operations to validate demand signals
• Prepare materials and lead/support weekly tactical S&OP meetings and monthly Demand reviews
• Prepare weekly and monthly demand reports highlighting forecast changes, key drivers and exceptions
• Maintain forecast dashboards and report weekly on forecast accuracy and bias KPIs
• Maintain forecast hierarchies, product segmentation and customer groupings
• Support new item introductions, phase-outs and SKU rationalization
• Provide Customer Service backup coverage (~25%), including order entry, order changes, delivery updates and issue resolution
• Run daily backlog, open order and shipment reports as needed

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Economics or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning or a related role
• Hands-on experience with statistical forecasting models and demand planning systems
• Working knowledge of Advanced Planning Systems (e.g., SAP, Blue Yonder, Relex or similar)
• Experience supporting or participating in an S&OP or IBP process strongly preferred
• Prior experience working with Sales, Customer Service or Operations teams
• Ability to provide backup Customer Service support when required
• Strong communication, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
