Qualifications

• BS in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years general accounting experience.
• Microsoft Excel experience.
• General knowledge of inventory transactions and how they flow through financial systems.
• SQL Writing Experience.
• Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx Designer Experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze monthly MD and shrink activity to identify trends and proper accounting.
• Research and determine inventory accounting entries for the Retail Stock Ledger (RSL), Retek, and GL; collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of GL accounts and investigate variances; coordinate with IT to resolve data issues.
• Prepare and compile monthly inventory-related financial reporting package.
• Lead recurring markdown review meetings with key business partners and provide insights and recommendations.
