Job summary

Broadata Communications, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Specialist II in Torrance, CA to ensure inventory accuracy and drive process improvements in a high-precision electronics manufacturing setting.

You will own discrepancy resolution, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with Purchasing, Production, and Planning to maintain seamless material flow. The role reports to Supply Chain and Operations Managers and emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in warehouse, inventory control, or manufacturing.
• Experience leading cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Hands-on with an ERP or MRP system; Sage ERP a strong plus.
• Proven track record resolving inventory discrepancies independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual cycle count schedule planning and year-end audits.
• Investigate variances between system records and counts; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accuracy across multiple storage locations with regular audits.
• Oversee kitting operations ensuring BOM accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Inspect shipments for damage and coordinate with Purchasing for resolution.
• Log and organize inventory per established procedures.
