Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Manager - Inventory to oversee inventory for assigned locations, optimizing investment while delivering high-level service. You will monitor ORP/EOQ, standardize inventory attributes, and drive optimization plans to meet working capital objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or business required; master's preferred.
• APICS/ISM certification preferred; Lean – Blue/White/Yellow preferred.
• 3 years inventory management experience; 5 years preferred.
• 3 years supervisory or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust ORP and EOQ levels and stocking decisions.
• Standardize and maintain inventory attributes for systems/databases.
• Use reports to meet fill rate and on-time delivery goals.
• Create and execute inventory optimization plans for working capital.
• Rationalize supplier base to increase preferred supplier utilization.
• Review supplier performance and improve where needed.
• Maintain stocking levels and minimize write-offs via procedures.
• Assist in recruitment, training, and coaching of staff.
• Develop and train employees in purchasing procedures and quality systems.
• Provide leadership to meet performance objectives and reduce turnover.
