The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in inventory management and be able to guide the company through new changes effectively. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze and optimize their inventory processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to minimize inventory levels while ensuring no back orders, maintaining a balance between supply and demand.
Oversee and manage all aspects of the import process, ensuring compliance with regulations and efficient handling of imported goods.
Identify and execute cost-saving measures in the import process, including optimizing shipping costs, reducing warehouse expenses, and sourcing from alternative suppliers.
Provide expert guidance and leadership to the inventory control team, driving continuous improvement and adapting to new changes in the industry.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required
7+ Experience in managing consumer goods, overseeing import operations, and implementing strategies for inventory optimization.
Experience with managing upward of 1500 skus
Advanced knowledge of inventory management software and tools (SAP)
Working with global vendors and imported goods
