Job summary

Cencora is recruiting for an Inventory Control Supervisor to support the Fontana/Corona distribution operations. The role oversees inventory integrity, cycle counts, and data accuracy across a high-volume facility with complex item movements.

You will lead Inventory Control Clerks, maintain compliance with DEA and safety rules, and collaborate with Customer Service, Receiving, and Procurement to optimize stock levels and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Four years directly related and progressively responsible experience, including two years supervisory.
• Detailed understanding of warehouse practices and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Experience leading Inventory Control Clerks and training staff.
• Knowledge of DEA regulations and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory integrity by location and accuracy.
• Analyze financial and operational impact of inventory adjustments.
• Establish and manage cycle-count programs.
• Investigate variances and order-filling discrepancies.
• Create active locations for new items and optimize movement.
• Execute transfers and reassign locations based on analysis.
• Ensure compliance with shelf-life policies and corporate policies.
• Query inventory and order history to support operations.
• Develop positive relationships with DC staff and suppliers.
• Lead and develop Inventory Control Clerks; oversee training and performance.
