Job summary

Save A Lot seeks an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee the TRICEPS system, monitor product movement, and minimize shortages and losses in a high-volume distribution setting. You will ensure SOX compliance and collaborate with buyers and finance to maintain optimal inventory levels.

The role requires leadership of multiple staff, daily cycle counts, and process improvements to reduce costs and increase throughput across dry and perishable warehouses.

Qualifications

• Two years of college in accounting, logistics, or statistics preferred.
• Strong PC skills in Windows, AS400.
• Two years’ experience in warehouse inventory control systems or related equivalent.
• Certification in operation of power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory movements across the facility and related costs.
• Conduct daily counts in dry and perishable warehouses and adjust records.
• Manage flow of product to/from outside storage as needed to meet demand.
• Supervise inventory control staff across shifts; set schedules and coach.
• Communicate inventory status with buyers, payables and distribution teams.
