Job summary

Lightera in Carrollton, GA is seeking a Sr. Inventory Control Analyst to partner with Materials Management, Purchasing, Operations, and Accounting to maintain inventory accuracy and SAP transactions across RM, WIP, finished goods.

The role leads cycle counts, supports month-end closes, and trains SAP users. Ideal candidates have a degree, 5+ years in manufacturing, and strong Excel/SAP MM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Warehouse and Receiving experience; SAP MM experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate processes and recommend changes to improve inventory accuracy.
• Oversee and train all SAP users on inventory transactions.
• Coordinate monthly cycle count schedule and report accuracy.
• Lead month-end physical inventory counts and report results.
• Support month-end close with accounting; last day plus two business days.
• Provide input on Inventory Aging report for on-hand and future demand.
• Analyze and perform inventory corrections with approvals.
• Audit inventory moves and material transactions.
• Provide training for inventory location management and scanners.
