Qualifications

• Highly skilled in Excel spreadsheets and other accounting software.
• Use of SAP and Power BI is a plus
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize and resolve variances
• Ability to multitask simultaneously and effectively prioritize work
• CPA certification is a plus
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations; HIPAA guidelines

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close accounting operations for eye care entities, focusing on Inventory/COGS
• Serve as primary inventory reporting accountant using PODIS system
• Manage write-up/write-down, GR-IR tracking
• Lead PODIS-to-SAP migration, data mapping and cutover planning
• Drive UAT for PODIS to SAP integrations
• Provide timely variance analysis COGS to Revenue with Operations and FP&A
• Understand ophthalmology workflows, ASC revenue/expenses
• Ensure internal controls and healthcare regulatory compliance
