Brobston Group is seeking a Senior Accountant, Inventory to strengthen financial operations through inventory accounting, cost forecasting, and royalty agreement accounting. You will analyze financial results and variances and partner with business teams to improve reporting and controls.

The role emphasizes collaboration with inventory control and other teams, supporting audits, and advancing process improvements. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in cost accounting or a similar function.
• At least 1 year of forecasting experience.
• Bachelor's degree with an accounting concentration or similar degree.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, ERP reporting environments, and US GAAP; SAP experience is preferred.
• Strong Excel, communication, analytical, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory valuation and movements, explain purchase price variances, and forecast cost element variances.
• Account for royalty agreements, including reviewing obligations and processing related invoices.
• Prepare journal entries, analyze accounts, and support general ledger management.
• Assist with internal and external audits, special projects, and process improvements or automation.
• Partner with inventory control and other business teams on inventory flows and financial reporting.
