Job summary

Motive is hiring a Senior Inventory Specialist to join the Planning & Inventory Team in Louisville, KY. You will manage inventory transactions across NetSuite and 3PL WMS, ensuring data integrity and connecting warehouse operations with our digital systems.

This role requires weekly travel to the Louisville warehouse, strong ERP/WMS experience, and a focus on process improvement, accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration with planning, finance, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in inventory management or similar roles with hands-on ownership of inventory transactions.
• Experience working with 3PL partners or warehouse teams to coordinate daily activities.
• Strong experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, and at least one WMS/3PL system.
• Ability to reconcile system inventory to physical stock and investigate variances.
• Familiarity withERP-to-WMS integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process, validate, and reconcile inbound receipts, put-aways, stock transfers, returns, and adjustments in NetSuite and 3PL WMS.
• Serve as the day-to-day operational contact for 3PL partners, coordinating receiving, storage, fulfillment, and cycle counts.
• Reconcile NetSuite inventory with 3PL records and physical counts; investigate discrepancies and errors.
• Ensure inventory and warehouse activities follow SOPs, controls, and financial requirements; reinforce standard workflows.
• Track service levels, accuracy, and timeliness with 3PL partners; identify gaps and support corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory, warehouse, and system processes and implement improvements.
• Provide accurate inventory data to support weekly/monthly S&OP, replenishment, and planning decisions.
