Job summary

Miebach Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant specializing in Simulation within the Engineering & Digital practice. You will lead development and application of advanced simulation models to support design, optimization, and implementation of intralogistics systems.

You will translate complex simulation outcomes into actionable insights for clients across industries. Candidate should have strong analytical abilities, programming skills, and experience with warehouse automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related field.
4–8+ years of relevant experience in supply chain consulting, intralogistics, or simulation modeling.
Experience with warehouse design, automation, or production logistics projects.

Responsibilities

Develop, validate, and deploy discrete-event simulation models for intralogistics systems such as warehouses and production logistics environments.
Analyze material flows, process interactions, and system performance to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
Evaluate automation concepts (AS/RS, conveyors, AMRs/AGVs, robotics) through simulation scenarios.
Integrate WMS/WCS data into simulation models to reflect real operations and support capacity planning.
Present simulation results and recommendations to clients and cross-functional teams.
