Job summary

Miebach is seeking a Consultant, Supply Chain Design & Modeling to join our growing practice. This hands-on role requires 5–8 years of experience in supply chain analytics, network design, optimization, logistics, or consulting.

You will translate data into recommendations and work with stakeholders on network strategy, facility location, and cost optimization, while contributing to modeling tool development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, SCM, OR, applied mathematics, data analytics, or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience in supply chain consulting, network design, logistics, or analytics.
• Experience with data, analytical models, or optimization tools.
• Experience delivering analyses or recommendations in a consulting, client-facing, or cross-functional business environment.
• Experience with facility location, transportation, inventory, capacity planning, or network strategy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and maintain supply chain models to evaluate current and future-state scenarios.
• Analyze distribution networks, transportation flows, inventory, capacity, facility locations, and operating costs.
• Structure, cleanse, validate, and interpret large data sets used in supply chain models.
• Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and cost-benefit assessments.
• Identify opportunities to improve service, cost, resilience, and operational performance.
• Support the delivery of supply chain strategy and network design engagements from data collection through final recommendations.
• Translate analytical and modeling results into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
• Develop client-ready presentations, reports, analyses, and supporting documentation.
• Work with project managers and senior team members to manage deliverables, timelines, and project quality.
