Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center department in North Carolina. You will perform fluoroscopic imaging for complex procedures under physician supervision and ensure patient safety throughout.

Requirements include ARRT certification, BLS, and advanced IR credentials. This is a full‑time, 40‑hour week with a day shift and a $15,000 sign‑on bonus for qualified hires.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required for radiologic technologist.
• BLS certification required for clinical staff.
• Advanced interventional certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized radiography and fluoroscopic coverage under physician direction.
• Explain procedures to patients and prep them for the procedure.
• Obtain medications/contrast materials for use by licensed personnel.
• Circulate during procedures and monitor patient comfort and safety.
• Document hemodynamic/contrast reports and ensure accurate charges.
