Job summary

The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a Sr. Special Procedures Technologist to join the Interventional Radiology lab. The role requires strong skills in general radiology, neuro and vascular interventional exams, and adherence to established protocols.

Responsibilities include scrubbing for procedures, image reconstruction, data transfer to CR/PAC/RMS systems, and assisting radiologists with sterile techniques. ARRT/RCIS and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA-sponsored School of Radiologic Technology.
• 5 years’ experience as radiology technologist.
• ARRT Registration and/or RCIS required. Current BLS certification.
• Associates must comply with ARRT Rules and Ethics.

Responsibilities

• Scrub technician in the Special Procedures/Interventional Lab.
• Perform imaging exams using established protocols and sterile techniques.
• Reconstruct images and transfer data to PACS/RMS systems.
• Assist radiologists during interventional imaging procedures.
