RWJBarnabas Health's RWJ Hamilton is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to perform complex angiographic and interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and imaging accuracy. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to maintain workflow and high-quality care.

The role requires ARRT registration in Radiography, NJ Certification, BLS, and at least 2 years in special procedures with scrubbing in sterile environments. Weekend/on-call duties are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures, position for rapid sequence filming during contrast administration.
• Operate diagnostic fluoroscopy equipment, computers, and related applications.
• Assist physicians during angiographic procedures by scrubbing, circulating, or monitoring.
• Maintain sterile technique, handle instruments, and assist with catheter passage.
• Calibrate and monitor equipment, report issues promptly to leadership.
• Enter patient images in EMR/PACS and ensure proper labeling and retrieval.
