Job summary

The University of Toledo Health Science Campus is seeking an X-ray Sr Technol Spec (Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist) to join the Vascular Lab team. You will scrub and monitor a range of cardiac, vascular, and neuro diagnostic/interventional procedures under direction of Attending physicians.

The role requires formal radiologic tech training, Ohio license, ARRT registration, CPR, and at least two years in cardiovascular procedures; on-call, weekend/holiday availability, and safety

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA-approved school.
• Must be licensed in the State of Ohio.
• ARRT registered.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in special procedures and cardiovascular procedures.
• Assume on-call responsibilities.
• Must hold current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical assistance by scrubbing and/or monitoring a variety of Cardiac/vascular and Neuro diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Participates in maintenance of lab equipment, materials, supplies, and ordering processes.
• Adheres to radiation safety and hospital policies to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
