Job summary

Premera Blue Cross seeks an experienced Senior Interplan Consultant (Telecommuter) to lead renewal and growth strategies for Participating Plan business across multi-state operations. You will negotiate contracts, collaborate with underwriting, operations, sales, and network teams, and ensure compliance with BCBS requirements while supporting Inter-Plan initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in healthcare, health insurance, account management, or related fields.
• Washington state insurance license and other licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop renewal and growth strategies for Participating Plan business, including RFIs/RFPs.
• Negotiate Participating Plan and Control Plan contracts and renewals with service levels and funding terms.
• Coordinate with underwriting, operations, sales, account management, network management and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with BCBS Association requirements and contractual obligations.
• Represent Premera on BCBS Association and Consortium Health Plans committees and workgroups.
