Job summary

Amazon Internet Edge team is seeking a Network Development Engineer to help deploy and scale the global AWS edge network. You will work with a diverse set of engineers to ensure fast rollout of new designs and networking software tools, driving capacity and cost efficiency for internet connectivity worldwide.

Responsibilities include deploying across data centers, collaborating with internal customers, and advancing automation to scale traffic at high volumes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience.
• 4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience.
• 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy network infrastructure across all network fabrics for Retail Service, Kindle, Payments and AWS services.
• Deploy, scale and automate network across multiple global datacenters; include greenfield locations.
• Drive scaling of current network designs to meet customer demand; create simple, repeatable deployment processes.
• Define network standards and ensure deployment to those standards; collaborate with automation teams.
