Job summary

Syllo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Internal Tools to build and scale AI-powered internal software. You will own custom tools that improve operations across departments, using AI coding agents to accelerate development while maintaining high standards for design and reliability.

You will collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Revenue Ops teams to tailor tools for evolving processes and contribute to best practices for AI-generated code integration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience and ownership of production systems.
• Experience using AI coding agents as part of modern software development workflows.
• Experience building automated testing workflows or evaluation systems for AI/LLM apps.
• Hands-on experience integrating large language model APIs into user-facing apps or internal platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive internal tool evolution by building and scaling internal software tools.
• Build with AI-first workflows and write clean, well-architected code.
• Pioneer AI-assisted testing with automated testing strategies and pipelines.
• Evaluate AI systems with scoring frameworks and harnesses.
• Design smart team workflows across Finance, Legal, Customer Success, and Revenue Ops.
• Help set AI engineering practices for integrating AI-generated code.
