Tutor Intelligence in Watertown, MA is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own internal systems and the shared data model that powers our robotics software. You’ll shepherd production software, data migrations, and the evolving schema that tracks robots, sites, parts, jobs, and people, with an emphasis on reliability and scale.

Qualifications

6+ years building production software with ownership of internal or operational systems.
Data modeling of relational schemas used by multiple teams.
Full-stack fluency: TS/React on frontend, Python or TS on backend.
Comfort working with operations teams and factory floor processes.
Experience guiding AI coding agents in real projects.

Responsibilities

Own the shared data model for robots, sites, customers, parts, jobs, and people.
Own the internal systems each operations function runs on (tickets, work orders, deployment records).
Turn how a function works into durable software after observing work processes.
Keep operations data trustworthy by reconciling systems and replacing spreadsheets.
Build with AI agents and review their output across a large internal codebase.
