Job summary

Circle is seeking an Internal Audit professional to plan and deliver technology and integrated audits across financial, operational, and compliance controls. You will lead projects from scoping to remediation tracking while collaborating with 1st- and 2nd-line risk functions and promoting AI-enabled testing workflows.

Preferred candidates have strong ITGC/SOX knowledge, cloud and blockchain risk experience, and familiarity with AI tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of auditing experience in financial services, payments, or technology.
• Knowledge of banking requirements and IT controls compliance.
• Strong audit principles, risk assessment, ITGCs, and SOX.
• Experience auditing cloud-native environments and cloud controls.
• Understanding blockchain tech and cryptocurrency risks in controls.
• Ability to analyze complex information and design practical tests.
• Familiarity with generative AI models and prompt development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver technology and integrated audits over financial, operational, and compliance controls.
• Lead audit projects from scoping through remediation tracking with risk functions.
• Develop and promote AI-enabled audit workflows to improve testing efficiency.
• Develop and enhance internal audit frameworks and assurance processes for tech audits.
• Conduct risk-based technology, systems, and operational audits for compliance.
• Carry out client interviews and documentation reviews for scoping.
• Present findings and support remediation with management and risk teams.
