Job summary

Circle, a leading internet financial platform, is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to plan and deliver technology and integrated audits over financial, operational, and compliance controls. Qualifications

4+ years of auditing experience in financial services, payments, or technology.
Knowledge of banking requirements and their applicability to IT controls and compliance.
Strong understanding of audit principles, risk assessment, audit documentation, ITGCs, and SOX compliance.
Experience auditing cloud-native environments and knowledge of cloud control frameworks.
Understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency risks related to control environments.
Ability to analyze complex information, develop practical testing strategies, and work independently to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with generative AI models (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and prompt development.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver technology and integrated audits over financial, operational, and compliance controls.
Lead audit projects from planning through fieldwork, reporting, and remediation tracking.
Collaborate with 1st- and 2nd-line risk functions to maintain an accurate risk profile.
Develop and promote the use of generative AI tools to streamline audit workflows.
Present findings and support corrective actions with management.
