Job summary

Circle is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to strengthen technology audits across financial services, payments, and blockchain domains. Qualifications

• 4+ years of auditing experience in financial services, payments, or technology.
• Knowledge of banking requirements and IT controls and SOX.
• Experience auditing cloud-native environments and cloud control frameworks.
• Understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency risks.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal audit frameworks, methodologies, and assurance processes for technology audits.
• Conduct risk-based technology, systems, and operational audits for compliance and controls.
• Conduct client interviews and documentation reviews to inform scoping and testing.
• Analyze process and system documentation to evaluate control design and operating effectiveness.
• Design and execute fieldwork testing strategies, including substantive tests and working papers.
• Evaluate control deficiencies and recommend remediation, including automation and generative AI where appropriate.
• Collaborate with management to present findings and track corrective actions.
