Ryan Specialty in New Jersey is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to plan and execute internal audits across financial and operational controls in the property and casualty insurance sector. You will develop audit scopes, perform risk assessments, and report findings to management.

The role requires 3–5 years of internal audit experience, strong data analysis skills, and CPA/CIA or equivalent certification is preferred. Salary ranges from $92,000 to $115,000 per year with bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years in internal auditing in property & casualty insurance.
• Knowledge of insurance accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and risk management.
• Experience with data analysis and extraction tools.
• MS Office proficiency; SQL a plus.
• Big 4 experience preferred.
• CPA/CIA or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and complete internal audits per the audit plan.
• Develop audit scope, procedures and reports.
• Lead testing and risk-based audits; provide risk feedback to management.
• Communicate audit results and recommendations to management.
• Assist with testing of internal controls.
• Participate in consultative reviews and special projects.
• Perform risk assessments and business process analyses.
