Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to plan, direct, and coordinate cross‑functional audit projects, ICOFR testing, and strategic special assignments, delivering results that meet scope, schedule, and quality commitments.

You will lead audit teams, engage with senior management and business owners, advance internal controls, and partner with ERM to strengthen risk management and governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related internal audit or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; additional experience may substitute.
• Healthcare or health insurance industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and coordinate complex audit projects from planning through reporting.
• Perform ICOFR testing and other special projects.
• Supervise audit staff and provide feedback to improve quality and efficiency.
• Support ERM processes and enterprise risk assessments.
