Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to lead financial and strategic audit projects, partnering with audit, finance, and accounting stakeholders to identify elevated risk and drive corrective actions. You will develop risk-based programs and deliver actionable insights to senior leaders across the organization.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of internal audit experience, familiarity with data analytics tools, and a CPA or equivalent advanced degree.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of internal audit experience in industry or public accounting

Responsibilities

• Lead audit and advisory projects focused on financial risks
• Deliver actionable insights on risk and control effectiveness to senior stakeholders
• Develop risk-based audit programs and monitor remediation to closure
• Build relationships with business leaders to drive process improvements and compliance
• Support Audit Manager with project administration, objectives, and timelines
• Report findings to management and assess corrective actions and improvements
• Assist team members with issues requiring financial or technical expertise
• Demonstrate strong risk assessment, audit execution, and reporting skills
