Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 3-4+ years of experience in external or internal audit within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and risk assessment methodologies.
• Preferred certifications: CPA, CIA, CAMS, CiSA.
• Experience with banking environments and knowledge of banking regulations a plus.
• Risk assessment and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end audit engagements (planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up).
• Perform risk-based testing of internal controls across financial, operational, compliance, and IT areas.
• Perform ICFR testing.
• Draft clear audit findings and reports with actionable recommendations.
• Track and validate issue remediation and closure; build strong relationships with business line management, risk, and compliance partners.
• Introduce the use of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics within the audit lifecycle.
• Coach and review work of junior auditors.
