Job summary

Byline Bank, headquartered in Chicago, seeks an Internal Audit Senior Manager to lead a portfolio of audit engagements across banking functions. This role provides independent assurance over governance, risk management and internal controls, while mentoring junior auditors and partnering with executive leadership.

You will drive the risk-based audit plan, oversee ICFR testing, and manage relationships with business, risk and compliance partners. Hybrid work with some remote days is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 10+ years of external or internal audit experience in financial services.
• CPA, CIA, CAMS or CiSA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through reporting.
• Drive execution of the risk-based audit plan.
• Oversee risk assessments, scoping, and testing work programs.
• Coach and develop audit staff.
• Maintain relationships with business, risk and compliance partners.
• Oversee ICFR testing for certain areas.
