Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to oversee Internal Audit risk assessment across AWS. You will meet with senior leaders, sponsor and oversee a portfolio of audits, and develop your team to deliver high-quality work that protects customers and the company.

You will apply deep audit expertise, strong judgement, and broad business understanding to navigate complex processes, guide risk mitigation, and influence improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of risk management, audit, legal, compliance or related field work including engaging with external stakeholders experience
• 7+ years of team management with 5 or more direct reports experience
• Experience in risk management, audit, legal, compliance or a related field including engaging with external stakeholders
• Experience in team management with 5 or more direct reports
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment
• Experience working within a global company, with multi-country responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead Internal Audit risk assessment activities across AWS.
• Sponsor and oversee a portfolio of audits and guide audit teams.
• Develop and coach Audit Managers, Lead Auditors and Auditors.
• Ensure high-quality, impactful audits and clear communication of findings.
