Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years of audit or other relevant experience.
• CPA, CIA, CISA, CCSA, CIDA, or CFE preferred.
• Previous experience in electric power generation, electric retail or energy trading businesses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns all audit lifecycle phases for risk-based engagements, including on-time completion and documentation in the audit system.
• Plans audit objectives, scope, timelines, and assigns team members as applicable.
• Conducts interviews to understand processes and communicates objectives to customers; develops audit programs when needed.
• Identifies and evaluates risks and controls; determines testing strategies and applies data analytics.
• Summarizes issues, prepares audit reports, and collaborates with customers on risk-mitigating actions.
• Maintains updates to key stakeholders, including executives up to EVP; follows up on remediation and closure of issues.
• Supports annual risk assessment and audit plan development; analyzes data and participates in ERM workshops.

Education
