Job summary

Vistra Corp in Irving, TX is seeking a Lead Analyst, Cyber Security Compliance to maintain knowledge of compliance regulations and develop program procedures, processes, and tools. You will lead interpretations of standards and summarize impacts for executives, administer internal controls, and support audit activities.

The role requires 7–10 years of related experience, knowledge of ERCOT/NERC-CIP, ISO 27001 and NIST 800-53, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years' experience in compliance or IT security roles.
• Experience interpreting regulations and designing compliant processes.
• Familiarity with audits and corrective action management.
• Knowledge of energy industry standards (ERCOT, NERC-CIP) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret regulations and design processes to ensure compliance.
• Support compliance with ERCOT, NERC-CIP, ISO 27001, and other standards.
• Facilitate internal and external audits and document evidence.
• Drive automation opportunities to improve compliance controls.
• Collaborate with plant teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve gaps.
• Lead root-cause analyses for non-compliance and manage corrective actions.
