Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering with 6–8+ years in automotive interiors.
• Experience with DFMEA, GD&T, and DFM.
• Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6 for 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Experience in IP, interior trim, seat trim design preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support engineering activities for large-scale product development programs using CATIA and layout reviews.
• Create concepts and specifications meeting cost, delivery, accuracy, and quality targets.
• Transition tasks to small-scale projects while monitoring progress and reporting to management.
• Support management with project scope, scheduling, quoting, and reporting for small-scale projects.
• Mentor and train associates in the team.
• Identify ways to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
