Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Interior Design Project Manager to join our close-knit team of creative professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing luxury interior projects, demonstrate proficiency in project management software and design tools, and excel in collaborative, interdisciplinary environments. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all phases of interior design projects from initial concept through installation
• Collaborate effectively with clients, interior designers, architects, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure design intent and client needs are achieved
• Develop and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure on-time delivery
• Manage procurement, scheduling, and coordination of contractors, vendors, and trades
• Oversee contract administration, permits, and compliance with local regulations
• Maintain organized project files, documentation, and communication records for seamless project execution
• Ensure quality control and adherence to design standards throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute to the studio’s reputation for excellence in luxury interior design and client service

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing luxury interior projects, preferably within a high-end design studio or boutique firm in NYC
• Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., Studio Designer, Asana, or similar) and design tools such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and design integrity
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently under tight deadlines
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (we do not sponsor visas)
