Job summary

HOK is seeking a Senior Interior Designer in the Philadelphia area to lead conceptual design and manage projects end-to-end. You will translate client goals into tangible concepts, supervise space planning, and coordinate with vendors and consultants.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of interior design experience, NCIDQ or architecture license, and LEED credentials. HOK offers a hybrid work environment and comprehensive benefits to support your professional growth.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design or foreign equivalent.
• 8+ years prior experience as an Interior Designer in a design, architecture, engineering, or planning firm.
• Must be professional Interior Designer and have passed the NCIDQ exam or be a registered Architect with current license required.
• If registered Architect, NCARB registration preferred.
• LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, organize and execute the conceptual design of a project.
• Lead design phases including budgeting, scheduling, documentation and construction, including furniture selection and specification.
• Maintain positive client relationships and communicate project progress regularly.
• Prepare 2D and 3D presentation drawings and develop schematic design documents.
