We also operate Interior Arts, a curated furniture and design showroom in Pittsburgh’s Strip District, expanding how clients engage with design while supporting both residential projects and showroom-driven work.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer with a strong background in high-end residential design, including both construction and furnishings. This role offers the opportunity to independently lead residential projects while also collaborating closely with the firm's principals on larger, more complex homes.

The ideal candidate has a sophisticated design sensibility, extensive knowledge of residential construction and detailing, and the confidence to guide clients through the design process from initial concept to final installation.

We welcome experienced designers from a variety of professional backgrounds, including those with independent practices who are interested in joining a collaborative team with the resources and infrastructure to support their work.

  • Lead space planning, furniture layouts, material selections, and custom furniture development.

  • Design and review technical drawings, elevations, specifications, and design presentations.

  • Proactively manage projects, anticipating needs, driving decisions forward, and balancing creative vision with project budgets, timelines, and client expectations.

  • Collaborate closely with architects, builders, fabricators, vendors, and trades to resolve design challenges and ensure design intent is carried through execution.

  • Oversee design details throughout construction, procurement, and installation.

  • Serve as a primary design contact for clients on assigned projects.

  • Lead design presentations and confidently guide clients through decisions.

  • Collaborate with the firm's principals, designers, and project managers.

  • Maintain a consistently high standard of design quality and client experience across all projects.
